Little Sioux
Welcome to Little Sioux! Little Sioux is nestled in the
Loess Hills, the Little Sioux River and the Missouri River. Some of the businesses
in Little Sioux offer the following services: construction contractors trucking,
grain elevator services, gas station/convenience store with eat-in diner,
contractors, and a camping association.


Events and Attractions: Annual events include the July 4th
Celebration, Little Sioux Homecoming Parade and Celebration,Artists in the
Park, and the annual Craft Fair. Attractions include the Murray Hill Scenic
Overlook, Fountainbleau Townsite and Pioneer Cemetery, Larpenteur Memorial
Road, and Murray Hall. Little Sioux was also a stop for the famous Lewis and
Clark Explorers.

Transportation: Little Sioux is located 1 mile from I-29 and along County Roads F20 and K45.
Recreation: The City of Little Sioux has a newly renovated City Park with a shelter, electricity and water hook-ups. Little Sioux borders the Loess Hills State Forest with multiple scenic stops. The Woodland Campgrounds offers camping along the Little Sioux and Missouri Rivers. There is also a Boy Scout Camp located a few miles North of Little Sioux.
